action alert! There are only about 400 wolves left in the entire country of Sweden. Yet the Swedish government plans to allow even more of them to be killed.   Say No To The Swedish Wolf Hunt! please share it helps!     Dear .....................           Wolves are an endangered species. In the entire country of Sweden, there are only about 400 of them left. That's barely enough to keep the population alive as is. Yet the government has still authorised a licensed wolf hunt that could cut that number in half. Despite the outcry from Swedish citizens, the government claims the cull is necessary to protect livestock. But there are lots of ways to protect farm animals from predators -- and indiscriminately murdering wolves shouldn't be one of them. Even the European Commission has stepped in to try to stop the hunt, correctly pointing out that Sweden is violating EU conservation laws. So far, though, the government has refused to listen.
